The 18th Amendment Bar
The 18th Amendment Bar in Sioux Falls, SD opened on October 30, 2010 and has quickly become one of the most popular lounges in Sioux Falls. The 18th Amendment features a live DJ every Wednesday – Saturday.
Most notably, Wednesday night is Ladies Night, featuring half price drinks. I am privileged to be one of the regular DJs in rotation at the 18th Amendment, so be sure to stop by and say hello!
Awww, a Nice Thank You Note!
This past Saturday (Nov. 27, 2010) we worked with Ashley and Jason Carter for their wedding reception. Great couple, great families, great friends, and a great time! For this event we did uplighting and cake spotting “on the fly”. The overall effect really helped transform the room. Following the event, both Ashely and her mother took the time to send us thank you notes via Facebook and Email…so we thought we’d show them off!
Thank You Notes
“I got TONS of compliments on our choice of DJ
You did so awesome, thank you for spending our special day with us. We are all awful dancers. I’m sorry you had to witness it.” – Ashley Carter (Bride)
“WOW is all Gary & I can say about the great job you did at Ashley and Jason’s wedding. It takes a lot to impress my husband and you did! You are a professional and an expert on setting the mood and rolling out a fantastic party. We are happy and will be recommending you to everyone we can. Thanks again!” – Laurene Garvis (Mother of the Bride)

Event Video: West Central Homecoming
Nothing too crazy, just some clips from a recent high school dance!
Event Video: Prairiefest USD Performance
On September 30, 2010 I (Jeff, aka DJ Kor) had the privilege of performing alongside DJ Royksi at the inaugural year of Prairiefest, an all day concert sanctioned by the University of South Dakota. The event was for a great cause, raising food for the Vermillion Food Pantry. The student run event pre-sold over 800 tickets, making it a great success for the first year. Four bands played throughout the evening, headlined by The Rude Band who absolutely rocked it…best cover band I have ever heard. The rocked everything from Journey to Flo Rida, but didn’t heed my request to play Justin Bieber. Maybe next year.
Please note that this was a “performance” based DJ event…so it’s not what you would expect from us at a wedding, high school, or private event. Put the headphones on when checking out this video…there’s a few profanities
Club Music From The Middle of Nowhere
Jeff Meuzelaar (aka. DJ Kor) is back at it again with a new mix download. 35 of his personal favorites packed into just over an hour of a club style set of music. Lot’s of remixed tracks, some house, and some rap music. Explicit lyrics, so wear the headphones
. Also, for our wedding and school clients – no worries, this is NOT what we’ll be playing at your event!
The mix name is inspired by my pal’s from Soulcrate Music, infamous for their “Rap Music From The Middle of Nowhere” anthem.

The Lie’brary Bar in Sioux Falls, SD

The Lie’brary Bar is consistently one of the busiest nightlife spots in the city of Sioux Falls. It features a spacious bar, a great staff, and the best music in town. Jeff Meuzelaar, the owner of Musical Edge, is one of the resident DJ’s at the Lie’brary. You can find him spinning a mixture of top-40, hip hop, and old school classics any night of the week. Currently, the Lie’brary features a live DJ Tuesday – Saturday each week.
Below is a recent live mix that Jeff (aka DJ Kor) recorded live from the Lie’brary on Friday September 25, 2010. The first half of the mix is pretty uptempo and top-40 filled while the second half of the mix drops down to more hip hop and rap.
